Veteran filmmaker Rakesh Roshan recently shared a personal health update on angioplasty that has left his fans both relieved and reflective.
The 75-year-old director took to Instagram on Tuesday to post his first message after undergoing an angioplasty procedure.
Along with his words, he also shared a photo from the hospital, where he was smiling and shaking hands with a nurse, surrounded by his medical team.
In his post, Rakesh Roshan revealed that the procedure was not in plan but happened because of a lucky suggestion from his doctor during a routine check-up. He explained that while doing a sonography of his heart, the doctor advised him to also get a scan of his neck arteries done.
To everyone’s surprise, the test showed that both his carotid arteries, which supply blood to the brain, were more than 75% blocked.
The shocking part? He had no symptoms at all.
