Akshay Kumar to make his Telugu debut with Vishnu Manchu’s ‘Kannappa’
Doosukeltha' (2013) actor Manchu took to his official X page to share the news of Kumar joining 'Kannappa'.
2.0 maintained its monstrous run at the Box Office on the second day too. S Shankar’s magnum opus began with the highest opening day sales by earning Rs 73 crore collectively. The science-fiction film starring Rajnikanth and Akshay Kumar in the lead roles revolves around an ornithologist’s revenge against everyone using a cell phone.
The trailer of the film had managed to persuade the moviegoers to fill the theatres even after being a non-festive release, and the Box Office collection speaks for the film impact.
Though 2.0 saw a decline in the earnings on the second day, it’s still going well overall.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter and shared the second-day earnings of the film. “#2Point0 remained strong on Day 2… Although the film has declined on Day 2, the biz should gather momentum on Day 3 [Sat] and Day 4 [Sun]… Thu 20.25 cr, Fri 18 cr. Total: ₹ 38.25 cr. India biz. Note: HINDI version,” the tweet read.

Film Trade analyst Sumit Kadel wrote, “#2point0 Fri- Tamil+Telugu- ₹ 22 cr. Hindi- ₹ 17.50 cr Total All India Friday collection- ₹ 39.50 cr Nett. Two Day Total- Thursday ₹ 61 cr Friday ₹ 39.50 cr – ₹ 100.50 cr nett.”
