The teaser for Raja Shivaji, directed by and starring Riteish Deshmukh, has finally landed online, giving fans a peek into the cinematic world of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. After a brief theatrical preview alongside ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’, the two-minute-and-thirty-one-second teaser is now reaching a wider audience.

A star-studded ensemble
The film doesn’t skimp on names. Sanjay Dutt, Abhishek Bachchan, Vidya Balan, Mahesh Manjrekar, Sachin Khedekar, Bhagyashree, Fardeen Khan, Jitendra Joshi, Boman Irani, Amol Gupte, and Genelia Deshmukh all feature here.
High drama and action
The teaser opens with Sanjay Dutt in a menacing avatar, seemingly a ruler ready to crush the Marathas, hinting at a deadly showdown after his on-screen killing of Mahesh Manjrekar’s character.
Moments later, Abhishek Bachchan appears as Sambhaji Shahaji Bhosale. Quick flashes of the rest of the ensemble follow.
From the looks of it, the filmmakers are going big. Cinematography by Santosh Sivan and music by the renowned duo Ajay-Atul suggest a visually lush experience.
