Pooja Bhatt returns as mother of Jitendra Kumar in new film celebrating India’s pigeon culture

New film of Jitendra Kumar and Pooja Bhatt: Fans of ‘Panchayat’ and ‘Kota Factory’ will be excited to hear that Jitendra Kumar is all ready to return to the big screen with a new and unique project that dives into one of India’s lesser-known cultural traditions: pigeon flying. The film still untitled, will see Jitendra play a passionate pigeon keeper.

Sharing the screen with Jitendra Kumar is veteran actress Pooja Bhatt who will take on the role of Jitendra’s mother. This pairing marks a notable return to serious drama for both actors.

Jitendra, known for his films like ‘Jaadugar’ and ‘Bhagwat: Chapter One – Raakshas’, will explore a new emotional depth in this story. Pooja, meanwhile, comes back to acting after her stint on Bigg Boss OTT season two.

The project also reunites Jitendra with co-producer Hitesh Kewalya, who previously worked with him on the hit comedy-drama ‘Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan’. Kewalya is on board as co-producer alongside Khyati Madaan’s Not Out Entertainment.

Directing the film is first-time feature filmmaker Bilal Hasan, who wrote the script himself. Hasan has already made waves in the short film circuit earning a Filmfare nomination for his award-winning short ‘Chupchaap’.

Principal photography is going to begin next year and fans can expect a mix of drama and subtle nostalgia.
