No Entry 2: Diljit Dosanjh puts exit rumours to rest with fun vlog

Rumours had been swirling online that Diljit Dosanjh had backed out of ‘No Entry 2’ following alleged creative differences with the makers. But the singer-actor has now made it clear, he’s still very much part of the upcoming comedy film.

On Wednesday, Diljit posted a lighthearted behind-the-scenes video on Instagram, putting to rest all the speculations.

In the clip, he is in a candid chat with director Anees Bazmee and producer Boney Kapoor, cracking jokes and sharing laughs.

Diljit says in the video: “Bazmee sahab story suna rahe hai… mere favourite director hai… idhar Boney Kapoor ji kehte hai ‘Ishq di gali vich no entry’.”

‘No Entry 2’ is the sequel to the 2005 comedy hit ‘No Entry’, which starred Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, and Fardeen Khan, along with Bipasha Basu, Lara Dutta, and Esha Deol.

The original, directed by Bazmee, was a box-office success and became one of the most memorable comedy capers of that decade.

The sequel is reportedly bringing a fresh twist with a new cast, including Diljit, Varun Dhawan, and Arjun Kapoor.

While sharing the ‘No Entry 2’ moments, Diljit’s vlog also gave fans a peek into his time on the sets of ‘Border 2’. The video includes fun interactions with Varun Dhawan and Ahan Shetty.

Actor Mona Singh is also in the vlog, complimenting Diljit and expressing her excitement about working with him on ‘Border 2’. The sequel to the 1997 war epic ‘Border’ is being directed by Anurag Singh and will feature Sunny Deol once again in a key role.

‘Border 2’ is a production of Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, JP Dutta, and Nidhi Dutta, and presentation of T-Series in collaboration with JP Films. The film is going to release in theatres on January 23, 2026.
