“I have seen a huge evolution in myself as an actor,” he said. “I don’t think there will ever come a day when I can say I’ve learned everything. Every single day brings something new. My personal struggles, experiences, and relationships have shaped me into the person and the actor I am today.”

For Neil Nitin Mukesh, life experiences are not separate from his craft. He believes that every challenge and every emotion adds to his “bank of emotions” that he draws from on screen.

“In these 18 to 20 years, I’ve matured a lot. That maturity helps me when I play different roles. The way I understand people now, the way I look at situations, it naturally flows into my acting,” he explained.

The actor fondly looked back at his debut. Neil entered Bollywood with Sriram Raghavan’s thriller ‘Johnny Gaddaar’, a film that gave him instant recognition. He said he still feels grateful for having started with a filmmaker of that caliber.

“I was very lucky to begin my career with Sriram Raghavan. He is one of the best, and the lessons I learned on that set still stay with me,” Neil recalled.

Presented by T-Series, his latest film ‘Ek Chatur Naar’ is ready for a grand release on September 12, 2025.
