With only one quarter left for the year to end and so many big films yet to release, actress Deepika Padukone has announced her arrival as Rani Padmavati in the first poster of the film shared by the actress on her Instagram account.
Padmavati featuring Deepika in the titular character alongside Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh is an epic historical drama that will release on December 1. The anticipation for the film is at its peak because of the buzz around the film that made headlines right from the pre-production stage.

Deepika’s look from the poster showcases the attributes of a passionate, ambitious and glorifying queen. The unique thing to notice in the poster is the actress is spotted with a unibrow! It’ll be interesting to see what she has to offer in her upcoming film.
Padmavati is directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The film’s release date is yet to be finalised.
