It’s been seven wonderful years since American singer-actor Nick Jonas became the ultimate “jiju” to India’s very own Priyanka Chopra, and the couple is marking the milestone in style.
Nick took to Instagram Stories recently to share a heartwarming photo of Priyanka relaxing on a sun-kissed beach. With her back to the camera, the image captured a serene and intimate moment perfectly complemented by Nick’s simple caption: “7 years married to my dream girl.”
Their journey together began in the most modern way: online. Nick first reached out to Priyanka on Twitter (now X) asking for a chance to meet her. What started as casual messages soon turned into friendly conversations.
Their first in-person meeting took place at the Vanity Fair Oscars afterparty in 2017. Nick expressed his admiration for Priyanka in true charming fashion.

The world got its first real look at them as a couple at the iconic Met Gala. By 2018, whispers about their romance grew louder. That July, Nick made the most romantic move of all by proposing to Priyanka on her birthday in London getting down on one knee and asking her to be his forever.
The lovebirds tied the knot later that year, on December 1, 2018, in India. Their wedding was a grand affair celebrating both of Christian and Hindu traditions.
Life after marriage brought more joy to the couple. In January 2022, they welcomed their first child, daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas via surrogacy.
Even recently, Priyanka took a short trip to Los Angeles to celebrate Thanksgiving with Nick, Malti, her mother Madhu Chopra.
“This Thanksgiving, I’m so grateful for health, joy, togetherness, and the simple pleasures of life that we tend to take for granted sometimes,” she wrote. “I’m so grateful for my family, friends, team, and everyone that makes this crazy ride feel easier.”
