For many Bollywood lovers, “Mujhko Yaad Sataye Teri” is exactly that kind of song. And now, singer-composer Himesh Reshammiya is celebrating a big milestone, the track has officially completed 20 years.
Himesh Reshammiya recently marked two decades of the beloved track from the 2006 comedy film ‘Phir Hera Pheri’. The musician shared a special video on Instagram where he is seen singing the song again, reminding fans why it became such a memorable hit.

The clip also included a glimpse of his wife Sonia Kapoor.
In the caption, Himesh wrote that despite having “thousands of blockbuster hits,” this particular song remains special to him.
He wrote: “Thousands of blockbuster hits but this is special. 20 years of Mujhko Yaad Sataye Teri. Just spreading some music and smiles today.”
He also used the occasion to wish fans on International Women’s Day.
The film behind the song
The song originally appeared in the 2006 comedy film ‘Phir Hera Pheri’, directed by Neeraj Vora. The movie was a sequel to the hit film ‘Hera Pheri’ and brought back the iconic trio of Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, Paresh Rawal.
The film featured a large ensemble cast including Bipasha Basu, Rimi Sen, Sharat Saxena, Johnny Lever, Rajpal Yadav, Milind Gunaji, Manoj Joshi, and Razak Khan.
The story continues the chaotic adventures of Raju, Shyam and Baburao. After finally becoming rich, their lives take a disastrous turn when they are cheated by a fraudster named Anuradha. The trio then struggles to repay money they borrowed from a dangerous gangster named Tiwari.
