Met Gala 2018, one of the biggest fashion nights of the year, brought many Hollywood, Bollywood, Music and Fashion industry together. The theme — Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination — this year is being termed as one of the most controversial in the gala’s history.
Deepika Padukone might have just one release there but she has a host of friends there. She shares a great rapport with her co-star Vin Diesel and bonded with supermodel Karlie Kloss at Met Gala.

Deepika was seen donning an Atelier Prabal Gurung cardinal silk crepe strapless gown with hand-draped silk gazar sculptural shoulder bloom and side draped chapel train with Tasaki Atelier jewellery.
Later, after her red carpet walk, Deepika explained that her attire did follow the theme of the gala, as it was actually inspired by the robes worn by cardinals for the choir.

Karlie took to her Instagram handle to share a throwback selfie with Deepika where both the beauty queens are seen flaunting their smiles. Karlie’s caption reads as, “So much love for this lady @deepikapadukone.”
