Actor Malavika Mohanan, who debuted in 2011 with Pattam Pole a Malyalam movie, has bagged the lead role in the upcoming film Beyond The Clouds by Iranian director Majid Majidi.
Earlier in November of 2016, there were rumorus that Deepika Padukone would act in the film and been auditioned for the role.
All speculations turned out to be fake since Malavika and Majid had started working on Indian set for the same project. The film will be released in Hindi.

While, Shahid Kapoor has been roped for the male leading role, his younger brother Ishaan Khattar is also starring in the film.
Genre wise Beyond The Clouds is a romantic movie, whose plot revolves around adoration of love and relationship between brother and sister.
The Mozart of Madras- AR Rahman has composed the music for the film.
Known for his brilliant cinematic delights, Majid Majidi has made International movies such as Children of Heaven and The Song of Sparrows.
