Bollywood actress Malaika Arora has never been one to think that it is about the age determining the way a woman appears or lives. To her, being 51 years old is not a battle against wrinkles or clinging to her 20s. It is rather embracing each phase of life with conviction.
While speaking to IANS, Malaika shared her thoughts on age and beauty. “To me, age is not a limit but an evolution. Every year brings wisdom, resilience, and a deeper understanding of yourself. That, to me, is the most beautiful transformation of all,” she said.
She further stated that beauty is never a matter of holding onto youth. “It’s embracing every phase with confidence and grace. When you’re in a good place and feel strong within, that energy comes through on the outside. No number can quantify that.”
To Malaika, glamour has never been about flashy clothes or extravagant lifestyles. She has long asserted that real style stems from confidence, grace, and authenticity.

That faith is also showcased in her professional life, which started in the 1990s when she was selected as a VJ for MTV India.
She soon made a mark in modelling and music videos from there. Viewers still reminisce about her cameo in Bally Sagoo’s “Gur Naalo Ishq Mitha” with Jas Arora, and naturally, her legendary dance in “Chaiyya Chaiyya” from Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Dil Se…’ (1998).
With each passing year, Malaika kept the dance floor under her feet with the release of tracks such as ‘Maahi Ve’ (2002), ‘Kaal Dhamaal’ (2005), and ‘Munni Badnaam Hui’ from ‘Dabangg’ (2010), which created a state-level frenzy.
She worked as an actress in movies like ‘Kaante’ (2002) and ‘EMI’ (2008). She has become a household name on TV as a judge on reality shows like ‘India’s Got Talent’, ‘MTV Supermodel of the Year’ (2019), and ‘India’s Best Dancer’ (2020).
