Bollywood’s eternal diva, Madhuri Dixit never goes out of style. The ‘Dhak Dhak’ girl has taken her fans on a nostalgic trip to the golden era of Bollywood, the 1980s, but with a 2025 twist that only she could pull off so effortlessly.
On Thursday, Madhuri lit up Instagram with a brand-new video. It oozed both elegance and energy. Dressed in a flowing white outfit, she danced and lip-synced to the timeless duet ‘Intaha Ho Gayi Intezar Ki’. This is originally sung by Asha Bhosle and Kishore Kumar.
With every graceful gesture, she seemed to channel the old-world charm of classic Bollywood. But she kept it stylishly fresh for today’s generation.
The song is popular for its romantic rhythm and vintage feel. And, it became the perfect backdrop for Madhuri’s expressive performance. Captioning the video, she wrote, “A little 80s charm, a whole lot of 2025 glam.”
What made the video even more special was how effortlessly Madhuri two blended eras.
Interestingly, Madhuri isn’t the only one bringing retro vibes back to life. A few days earlier, ‘Anupamaa’ actress Rupali Ganguly had also recreated the same 80s magic. In her video, Rupali grooved to the same iconic track, wearing a nostalgic smile that mirrored the charm of Bollywood’s classic heroines. She captioned her post, “Retro feels… timeless charm never fades. Sometimes, old-school is the new cool! Guess the decade – 70s or 80s?”

Fans of both actresses were quick to notice the fun coincidence, with many drawing comparisons between the two performances.
Madhuri, however, has long been the reigning queen of graceful dance. Over the years, she has often shared short clips of herself performing to evergreen tunes.
Recently, Madhuri also became the life of Shabana Azmi’s 75th birthday celebration, held on September 18. The star-studded bash, attended by Bollywood icons like Rekha, Vidya Balan, Farah Khan, Sanjay Kapoor, and Urmila Matondkar, turned into a night to remember when Madhuri hit the dance floor.
Alongside Karan Johar, she gave an impromptu performance to the classic track ‘Dafli Wale’, setting the party on fire.
