Filmmaker Karan Johar, who is currently in Davos for the ongoing World Economic Forum, was all praise for actor Ranveer Singh. The director opened up about his equation with Ranveer Singh and spoke on several other matter.

In an interview to India Today, Karan Johar compared Ranveer with his contemporaries Ranbir Kapoor and Varun Dhawan and said about one quality that no one else had except for Ranveer. “Ranveer’s energy enhances his stardom. Other actors like Ranbir Kapoor, Varun Dhawan don’t have that much energy but they are unique in their own way. They are amazing actors and are really good on screen.”

Continuing to praise Ranveer, the filmmaker said, “I loved Ranveer on the cover of India Today magazine. I love Ranveer. He is my go to person for everything. He is very flamboyant and that’s something that he shows to the public. He is always this person, he is originally very flamboyant. He is my hero.”

Back in September, in an interview to the MW India magazine, Karan was asked about his all-time favourite actor, and he had said, “My all-time favourite actor will be Ranbir because he’s just phenomenal.”

He also talked about his kids—Yash and Roohi — and said, “I don’t want to spoil them because I was spoiled by my father silly, my mother kept me strong and stable. And now my mother and me are co-parenting, so it’s the same thing all over again.”

On the professional front, Karan Johar’s upcoming films are Kalank, Takht and Brahmastra.
