Walking in Salman Khan’s footsteps, Varun Dhawan is all set to reprise the double role in David Dhawan’s Judwaa 2.
The film is touted to be the sequel or spin off to the 1997 action comedy film Judwaa.
Leaving viewers guessing, Varun tweeted on Thursday: “Suprise coming up tomorrow morning #Judwaa2.”
Revealing the surprise, he then posted on his account, “Give some love to my twin brother Raja he’s new to Twitter follow him @Judwaa_02”.
Interestingly, Varun will change his current Twitter account’s name to ‘Prem’, and start a new Twitter handle called ‘Raja’ (both are the names of the characters in his new film).
Known to be active on social media and reaching out quite well to his fans and audiences, the 29-year-old plans to have the two characters interact on Twitter.
“Judwaa has two distinct characters, so I thought I should engage with people as two different people on social media. It helps me prepare for my characters as well, as both would use Twitter differently. In order to create the role, I need to live it, and I want to do that by interacting with my fans and other people,” the actor said.
Also starring Jacqueline Fernandez and Taapsee Pannu in lead roles, the movie is slated for a September 29, 2017 release.
