Sridevi’s co-star Mahesh Thakur recalls romantic scene: ‘We were petrified’
Actor Mahesh Thakur reminisces about shooting a romantic scene with late actress Sridevi, highlighting her warmth and professionalism on set.
Star kids Jhanvi Kapoor and Ishan Khattar have been finalised in the lead roles of the official Hindi remake of Marathi film Sairat. The movie will be backed by Dharma Productions.
Jhanvi became a sensation and drew a lot of attention, ever since the news of her debut broke. It has been officially announced that she will be cast opposite Shahid Kapoor’s younger half-brother Ishaan Khattar in the upcoming film.
As per reports Sridevi and Boney Kapoor’s daughter – Jhanvi will soon start the shooting of the film along with Ishaan from December 1.

Bollywood Industry tracker Ramesh Bala took to Twitter to share about the latest development in the tinsel town.

This will be Ishaan’s second film after his debut in Majid Majidi’s Beyond the Clouds. His first film is still in the making.
However, neither Dharma Productions nor Sridevi has confirmed the news. Nonetheless, the two young actors have been spotted together in the recent time, which adds spark in the fire.
Ishaan and Jhanvi are among the most talked about star kids and have a huge fan following on social media. It will be interesting to see the fresh pairing of these two in this musical romance.
Marathi film Sairat is a musical romantic drama which was directed by Nagraj Manjule. The film introduced young actors Akash Thosar and Rinku Rajguru. It became the first Marathi film to gross over Rs. 100 crore worldwide, and also ran for more than 100 days in cinemas.
