When it comes to Bollywood stars, gossip spreads faster than fire. For the past few months, actor Govinda and his wife Sunita Ahuja were surrounded by whispers about trouble in their marriage. Reports even claimed that Sunita had filed for divorce again, accusing Govinda of adultery, cruelty, and desertion.
Fans were left shocked, wondering if one of Bollywood’s most loved couples was really falling apart.
But this Ganesh Chaturthi, the duo decided to put an end to all the speculation. Instead of making statements through representatives or social media, they appeared together in front of the cameras and spoke directly to the media.
During the interaction, Sunita dismissed the rumours with a smile and a sharp statement. Holding her husband close, she asked, “If something had really happened between us, would we be standing this close? Wouldn’t there be distance?”
She added that no one, not even God or the devil, could separate them.

She also referred to an old Bollywood film title to make her point. “There was a movie called ‘Mera Pati Sirf Mera Hai’,” she said. “That is exactly how it is with me. Govinda is only mine. Nobody else’s.”
Rumours about celebrity marriages are nothing new in the film industry. In Govinda’s case, the stories picked up speed because of his high-profile life and occasional family disputes that had earlier come out in public.
This time, however, both Govinda and Sunita Ahuja made it clear that speculation would not shake their relationship.
