“Hum ek pagal Bengali hai, Hum hockey se pyaar karta hai” this dialogue has struck with the fans ever since the release of the first teaser of the much awaited film, Gold.

Akshay Kumar’s Gold is an upcoming film based on the life of an Indian hockey player, who was a key in India’s first gold medal winning team post Independence.

The teaser is quirky and appealing, which is set in the backdrop of 1946-1948. Akshay has nailed the lingo and looks of a typical Bengali, who will only stop once his quest for his gold medal is over.

The teaser also gives an insight into the Bengali culture and how much the people of Bengal are crazy for this sport.

Without further ado, watch the video and see for yourself;

The teaser of the film has successfully created a buzz among the fans and their anticipation for the film will only increase in the coming days. But there’s is one thing missing from the appealing teaser of the film!

The lead female actor– Mouni Roy, who is all set to make her Bollywood debut, is not seen in the first teaser of the film. Mouni’s debut is one of the most talked about things from the film and people are eagerly waiting for TV beauty to spell her magic on the big screen. Maybe the makers have decided on to keep the best thing for the last, who knows?

Directed by Reema Kagti, Gold is presented by Excel Entertainment and is all set to release on August 15.
