Mumbai Police takes action after actor Ranveer Singh files complaint regarding deepfake video, signaling a crackdown on digital deception.
Fukrey Returns has not only emerged victorious at the box office but has also gained immense praise from B-town and critics for living up to the expectations of the fans.
Recently, actor Ranveer Singh termed the franchise as cult after Richa Chadha, who plays Bholi Punjaban in the film, shared the first look of ‘Fukrey’ Comics on her Instagram.
Richa shared an image of the comic edition of the film to which the Befikre actor replied as ‘fukrey cult’.

This is not the first time that Ranveer has lent his support to his colleagues as earlier in the past he has promoted many films like Toilet: Ek Prem Katha and Judwaa 2 in his own unique style.
Fukrey has undoubtedly emerged as one of the biggest hits of 2017 as the film has earned more than Rs.40 crore in its first five days.
The comic edition of the film is a collaboration between the makers of the film and iconic comic character Chacha Chaudhary and will be soon published for the readers.
Directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba. Fukrey Returns was released on December 8.
