Actor and politician Kangana Ranaut has shared the first motion poster of her upcoming film ‘Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata’. The poster was released on May 28 and gives audiences a first glimpse of the film inspired by real events from the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks.
The motion poster features Kangana in the role of a nurse. She is shown trying to save a patient amid panic and destruction. The visuals suggest the emotional and physical turmoil faced by frontline workers during the attacks.
The caption on the poster read: “Kuch khaas karke, aam hi kehlaate. Woh dikhte toh hain, par nazar nahi aate.” Translated, this means: “They do something extraordinary, yet remain ordinary people. They are seen by everyone, but rarely truly noticed.” The poster also confirmed the theatrical release date of June 12, 2026.
What the film is about
‘Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata’ is directed and written by Manoj Tapadia. The film draws inspiration from real incidents that took place at Mumbai’s Cama and Albless Hospital during the 26/11 terror attacks. It is described as a tribute to unsung heroes who showed extraordinary bravery during that crisis.

According to a report by Variety India, the film focuses on the courage displayed by hospital staff members as they worked tirelessly amid fear and chaos. Nurses, ward boys, and other frontline workers are at the centre of the story. The film shifts attention away from the attackers and toward the ordinary people who chose duty over fear.
Kangana plays a nurse in the film. Her character represents the healthcare workers who continued to do their jobs during the attacks.
The film is directed and written by Manoj Tapadia. This is his debut as a feature film director. Girija Oak also stars in the film in a key role.

The film is produced by Pen Studios, Manikarnika Films, and Paramhans Creations, in association with Eunoia Films LLP and Floating Rocks Entertainment. It is presented by Dr Jayantilal Gada of Pen Studios. The film will be distributed by Pen Marudhar.
Kangana’s previous work
Kangana was last seen in ‘Emergency’, a political drama she also directed and co-produced. In that film, she portrayed former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. The story explored the Emergency period imposed in India between 1975 and 1977.
The film is set to release in cinemas on June 12, 2026.
