Katrina Kaif opens up about battling unrealistic beauty standards in Bollywood
Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif candidly discusses the pressures of conforming to unrealistic beauty standards and the importance of self-acceptance in a recent interview.
Katrina Kaif rings in her 35th birthday today (July 16), and instead of a lavish star-studded birthday bash she opted to spend time with her family in London this year.
The actress says she does not like to have elaborate plans and would instead prefer to keep it low key. Katrina’s Instagram handle is a proof that she is enjoying every bit of it and having fun and relaxation with her dear ones.

“Birthdays for me are about having a good time with your loved ones. I don’t believe in reminiscing too much. Every year I try and have a good time. I am at a place in the country side with my sister. I am happy about the day. It is all about having fun, chilling and relaxing,” Katrina told Mumbai Mirror.
Katrina has seven siblings, three elder sisters (Stephanie, Christine, and Natasha), three younger sisters (Melissa, Sonia, and Isabel) and an elder brother, Michael.
She posted a photo with her sisters and wrote, “Out to sea .” She looked beautiful in a white tee, which had red lips printed on it, and she paired with black shorts, black sneakers and black sunglasses while her hair was tied in a plait.

Earlier she shared photos of her, pictures of an old English mansion and of her pretty sisters, on her Instagram Stories.
On the work front, Katrina will resume shooting of her upcoming film Zero which also stars Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma.
