Krystle said that she had no idea about what decisions were made behind the scenes. For her, the song simply came her way, and she embraced it with gratitude. “What’s meant to be, will be,” she explained, adding that she feels this opportunity was written for her.

She also made sure to clarify one important thing that this moment does not take anything away from Tamannaah Bhatia.

Praising Tamannaah with warmth and respect

Krystle had only kind words for Tamannaah. She called her beautiful, talented, powerful as a performer. She admitted that Tamannaah has her own presence and aura, something that lights up screen.

Krystle shared that if Tamannaah had done the song, she would have brought her own spark to it. But she also believes that every artist has their own journey. “What’s written in someone’s destiny, they receive,” she said stressing that there is room for everyone to shine.

Supporting women in the industry

One of the most striking parts of Krystle’s reaction was her strong support for fellow women artists. She said she feels proud seeing women do well in cinema and hopes to see more women delivering bold and exciting performances.

Rather than comparing herself to Tamannaah, Krystle chose to celebrate her. She said she would love to see women support each other instead of being pitted against one another.
