After their last outing together in Yeh Jaawani Hai Deewani, actor Deepika Padukone and filmmaker Karan Johar are all set to reunite for an upcoming project, which will be backed by the latter’s Dharma Productions.

Johar produced Yeh Jaawani Hai Deewani back in 2013, which featured Deepika and Ranbir Kapoor in the lead roles, and now the filmmaker is gearing up for another project with the Padmaavat actor under KJo’s brand Dharma 2.0.

Director Punit Malhotra, who worked with KJo in I Hate Luv Stories, shared an image of the trio, including himself, on his Instagram account.

Punit wrote: “Launched a new director at @dharmatopointo today… our very own @karanjoahr!!!
Thank you @deepikapadukone for a super fun shoot!”

The post shared by the director, who will also be directing the upcoming film Student of the Year 2 featuring Tiger Shroff in the lead role, has piqued the curiosity of fans and they are left wondering about the nature of the collaboration between the actor and filmmaker.

Apparently, Karan also shared a selfie with the actor confirming the speculations of his collaboration with the actor.

Left profilers! @deepikapadukone 😘❤
