Bollywood diva Deepika Padukone is ringing in her 40th birthday today on January 5. And she kicked off the celebrations a day early with heartwarming fan meet in Mumbai.
Instead of a flashy party, Deepika chose an intimate evening with the people who have supported her throughout her journey making her milestone birthday truly special.
Flying fans in for the celebration
Fans got more than just a glimpse of their favourite star. Deepika went all out arranging flights and even a car to pick up one lucky fan straight from Mumbai airport.
The gesture then set the tone for a night that felt more personal than a typical celebrity event.
According to a popular fan page, the fans described the evening as “an experience of a lifetime” and called Deepika “the best host ever.”
A festive wonderland
The venue was transformed into a cozy Christmas-themed wonderland. A huge Christmas tree adorned with Polaroid pictures of Deepika set the perfect backdrop.
