Actor Anushka Sharma, who was last seen in horror film Pari, has slammed a leading daily for fabricating an interview about her personal life, which she never gave.
Anushka took to her Twitter account and shared a screenshot of the article and tweeted: It is SHOCKING to see a completely fabricated interview of mine in a reputed publication like @Ei_Samay. This is to clarify that I have NEVER done an interview on my personal life with them or with anyone else. Just shows how carelessly your personal freedom is looked at by them.

The interview in question was regarding to a viral picture shared by the actor’s husband, Virat Kohli, where the couple are seen hugging each other in South Africa.
Anushka claims that she has never ever given an interview to the Bangla newspaper about her personal life and especially not about her marriage to Indian cricketer Virat Kohli.
A testament to Anushka’s claims is her private wedding back in December 2017, where no one from the Tinsel Town was invited and it was a small affair in the presence of their loved ones.
Fans got to know about the wedding only after the couple tied the knot and shared the news with the world on social media platforms.
The ‘fabricated’ article was published in Bengali language newspaper Ei Samay’s regional supplement.
On the work front, Anushka will next seen in Sui Dhaaga: Made in India opposite Varun Dhawan and Zero alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif.
