Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan, who often shares his reflections through his personal blog, marked Dussehra with a heartfelt note.
Wishing his followers, Big B wrote, “May the victory of good over evil be ever blessed in our lives and in the lives of all humanity.”
In his post, the superstar recalled the teachings of Chanakya, the famous strategist and advisor to Chandragupta Maurya. Bachchan explained that while goodness should always be celebrated, it should also be balanced with caution.

“Chanakya taught wisdom. Be cautious when you are designed to give or do goodness to others. To continue to trust all can lead to your problems in time,” he wrote.
He further reflected that good people often have a habit of trusting everyone, which may sometimes expose them to harm. For him, the idea of “good over evil” holds several layers of meaning beyond the traditional festive message.

After sharing this thoughtful note, the actor signed off with warm wishes for his fans and well-wishers: “May this Dussehra bring all the happiness and joy you deserve… prosper, bring accolades, progress, and the good for all.”
Interestingly, Bachchan also acknowledged the irony of his own words. Referring back to Chanakya’s advice of caution, he admitted that life is full of contradictions. “Kind of contrary to the above and the teachings of Chanakya… but so be it. Life itself is filled with contrary elements,” he mused.
This reflective post comes just days after the megastar had extended Navratri greetings through the same platform. Earlier, he had shared a playful thought about trying to “run ahead of time.”
