Amitabh Bachchan recently shared a deeply personal moment that left him reflecting on kindness, helplessness, and life’s small but significant lessons.
Writing in his blog, Big B opened up about an incident that happened while he was travelling in his car. He revealed that he had just finished spending whatever cash he had in his wallet when a little girl approached his window in the rain, trying to sell a bunch of gajra.
Bachchan recounted how she looked at him with pleading eyes, hoping he would buy her flowers. But his wallet was empty.
“I had spent all the wallet filled… watched in sadness as we drove away, distant from those sad expectant eyes… drenched in the rain she stood… perhaps that wallet would have taken care of her meal,” he wrote.
Reflecting on the experience, Bachchan shared a simple lesson with his readers: always carry a little cash, even if it’s just to offer help when you can.

“Now left distraught… lesson… ever carry some spend in the wallet, ever… to never allow that which happened to them, that, in expectation… Love,” he wrote.
Apart from sharing this heartfelt experience, Amitabh Bachchan also updated his followers about his work. The veteran actor is back on the sets of ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ (KBC), the iconic quiz show that he has hosted for years.
Sharing glimpses from his rehearsal sessions on the blog, he wrote, “Shuru kardiya kaam.”
“The prep begins… to be back to the people… to be with them in their desires to improve life and livings… the opportunity that changes lives in an hour,” he shared.
