Actors Ali Fazal and Amyra Dastur has been roped in to star alongside Sanjay Dutt in the Hindi remake of cult classic Telugu, Prasthanam.

The director, Deva Katta,  of the original film will be returning to helm the Hindi project titled Prasthaanam and will hit the floors in the first week of June.

Dutt will be seen essaying the role of a patriarch of a powerful political dynasty and joining him in the supporting roles are Fazal, who will be essaying the role of Dutt’s son whereas Amyra will be playing Fazal’s love interest in the film.

The original Telugu film starring Sai Kumar, revolved around a young man belonging to a powerful political family, who wants to expose the network between politicians and businessmen.

Prasthanam was a huge commercial success and also swept away 3 Filmfare award down South.

Now it’ll be interesting to see what wonders the Hindi remake of the film will do and how the fans will react to the remake of the cult classic film.

Interestingly, Dutt will doing multi-tasking in the film as he will not only star but also will serve as the producer of the film, which marks his return to the production after seven years, following his stint with David Dhawan’s Rascals in 2011.
