Akshay Kumar to make his Telugu debut with Vishnu Manchu’s ‘Kannappa’

Celebrities in India have a huge impact on the fans and often those fans do bizarre things to prove their love. Recently, a die-hard fan of Akshay Kumar tried to barge into the actor’s house to catch a glimpse of his idol. However, the 20-year-old youth from Haryana ended up in jail.
On Tuesday, Ankit Goswami went to the Akshay’s residence near Juhu Beach and demanded to meet him. He was chased away by the security personnel.
However, Ankit, who was unaware that Akshay wasn’t at home, didn’t give up and returned later in the evening to meet him. Reportedly, he climbed onto a parked tempo near the building to reach the top of the boundary wall. To avoid getting caught by the security guards, he waited on a tree branch for a couple of hours.

At night, around 1.30 a.m, he quietly got down the tree and attempted to go inside the Gold actor’s house. Eventually, Ankit was caught by the security personnel who handed him over to the police.
“Considered as a harmless but starstruck ‘fan’, the youth had run away from his home and reached Mumbai by train on Monday, wanting to meet Akshay and also try his own luck in Bollywood,” the police said.
He was booked for trespassing and sent to police custody, an official said, adding that the boy’s father, Brijendra will reach Mumbai in a couple of days to bail him out.
