Actors Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor whose infamous stint at the AIB Knockout Roast landed them in legal trouble, have been refused interim relief by the Mumbai High Court.

Though their ‘vulgar comedy’ was humorous, it did raise some questions from the authorities who registered an FIR (First Information Report) for their vulgar and abusive language at the show.

The Gunday actors appeared as special guest on the show back in 2015 and were criticised for their abusive and vulgar language.

The Mumbai Police registered the FIR against the actors after realising the adverse effect of their language on the viewers, which was very insensitive on the actors’ part.

Apparently, after filing a petition in the court, the Mumbai HC refused to give them interim relief and set April 3 as the date of hearing for the case.

According to reports in HT, after a court order, Mumbai Police registered an FIR at Tardeo Police station, which named other B-Town celebs like Deepika Padukone, Karan Johar and Alia Bhatt among others, who were present in attendance at the show.

The FIR was still registered even after the group pulled down the viral video from Youtube, apologised and even personally visited religious groups, who were offended with the content of the show.

AIB Knockout took place at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Indoor Stadium on January 20, 2015.
