Actress Aditi Rao Hydari found herself dealing with an unexpected scare this weekend. The ‘Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar’ star took to Instagram on Sunday to warn fans, friends, and people from the industry that someone has been pretending to be her on WhatsApp.

In a clear and firm note, Aditi revealed that she had been alerted by a few people earlier in the day. They informed her that a person was using her photographs on WhatsApp and messaging photographers, claiming to be her.

The impersonator was reportedly reaching out for “photoshoots” and trying to contact people directly.

Aditi immediately clarified that she would never contact anyone in such a manner. She wrote that she does not use any personal number for work-related conversations. Every professional interaction is always managed through her team.

She added a gentle request for everyone to stay alert. “Please be careful and don’t engage with that number,” she wrote. She also encouraged anyone who notices anything suspicious to inform her team.

While this weekend brought an unpleasant surprise, Aditi recently had a much brighter Sunday. Last month, she spent her day surrounded by dogs and shared a series of heartwarming photos on Instagram. In the pictures, she was cuddling and playing with adorable furry friends at a rescue centre.

In her caption, she praised the people who dedicate their time and energy to saving animals and giving them better life. She called these rescuers “incredibly inspiring humans” and sent a sharp message to those who harm animals, writing that such people deserve “tight slaps” for their cruel actions.
