After successfully earning Rs 100 crore, Rs 200 crore and Rs 300 crore in just seven days of the film’s release, now Secret Superstars eyes the Rs 400-crore mark.

According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh the film collected $7.56 mn (Rs.48 crore) on January 27, taking the total collection of the film to Rs.376.09 crore ($59.14 mn).
With no major competition at the box office, the film can easily cross the Rs 400-crore mark on Sunday.
Considering Aamir’s huge fan base and film’s strong word of mouth, the next challenge ahead of the film is to dethrone Dangal as the highest grossing Bollywood film there. But that is not quite an easy task as Dangal is the highest grossing Bollywood film in China, which stands atop of the mountain with some Rs 1200 crore.
Secret Superstar, featuring Zaira Wasim in the titular role, narrates the story of a young aspiring singer who becomes an overnight star after releasing her first song on the internet that catches the attention of successful yet arrogant music director, Shakti Kumarr (Aamir).
Secret Superstar released on October 19, 2017 to a decent box office run in India. But the film is breaking records and making history at the box office in China.
