Behind the scenes: Aamir and Arijit together

On Monday, fans got a rare treat. A behind-the-scenes video from the making of the title track of ‘Ek Din’, the film starring Junaid Khan (yes, that’s Aamir’s son!), was released, and it’s pure gold for fans.

The clip shows Aamir Khan and Arijit Singh sharing warm, personal moments. There are scenes of them enjoying meals together, flying kites in the yard, and recording the title track side by side. The video gives a rare glimpse into Arijit’s world away from the limelight and it’s clear Aamir wasn’t just there for work, he was there for heart.

A plea from Bollywood’s Mr. perfection

Amid the laughter and kite-flying, Aamir’s message hit home. In a moment caught on camera, he urged Arijit not to quit playback singing.

“For sometime you want to take a break or you don’t want to sing for Hindi films? Aise mat kar yaar, hum logon ka kya hoga bhai?” Aamir said.

Arijit Singh’s goodbye

The video comes a few weeks after Arijit Singh stunned everyone with his announcement in January. Sharing a message on Instagram, Arijit thanked his fans for years of love and support.

“Hello, Happy New Year to all. I want to thank you all for giving me so much love all these years as listeners. I am happy to announce that I am not going to be taking any new assignments as a playback vocalist from now on. I am calling it off. It was a wonderful journey,” he wrote.

Fans flooded the comments with messages of gratitude, sadness, and support.

While Arijit steps back from playback singing, it’s clear he hasn’t closed the door on music entirely. He might still surprise fans with personal projects or live performances.
