According to a report on Zee News, Mahabharata has always been on Aamir’s priority list and his favourite character is Karna.
“My dream project is to make the ‘Mahabharata’ but I’m afraid of starting the project as I know it will consume at least 15-20 years of my life. My favourite character is Karna, but I don’t know if I’ll be able to play him due to my physique. I may just have to play Krishna. I also liked the character of Arjun. He was the only person who asked Krishna why he had to kill his own people,” Aamir said while promoting Secret Superstar.
Now fans are awaiting the official announcement of the film from either Aamir or the makers of the film.
But one thing is for sure after the mammoth success of Baahubali the stakes has been raised for a high budget film like Mahabharata.
On the work front, Aamir will be next seen in YRF’s Thugs of Hindostan alongside Amitabh Bachchan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Sheikh.
