Actress Deepika Padukone got a pleasant surprise when she came across a south Indian restaurant in Mumbai named after her famous dialogue "Thangabali" from the film 'Chennai Express', sources have revealed.

The eatery, which has opened up in Mahim recently, is named 'Thangabali', uttered by Deepika in one of the most hilarious scenes of the film where she played feisty Tamil girl– a performance that was loved an appreciated by all.

"I was driving home the other day and suddenly drove past this restaurant called "Thangaballi"!!! Can you imagine?! I couldn't stop smiling! I love south Indian food and I cannot wait to try it out!", Deepika shared.

The actress is currently working on her period drama Padmavati, which also stars Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh.
