Akshay Kumar to make his Telugu debut with Vishnu Manchu’s ‘Kannappa’
Doosukeltha' (2013) actor Manchu took to his official X page to share the news of Kumar joining 'Kannappa'.
The fourth installment of Sajid Khan’s franchise of Housefull will soon be on the floor. The comedy film has been titled Housefull 4 and it will be releasing on Diwali in 2019. While the two actors Akshay Kumar and Riteish Deshmukh are already confirmed for the lead roles, Bobby Deol might be the third one. According to reports, the Poster Boys actor has been approached for the role.
The DNA quoted a source saying: “Sajid Nadiadwala and Sajid Khan are close to Bobby and they felt he would fit the role. Talks are still on. They are yet to sign the actor but mostly, he will give the nod to this film. Shooting for Housefull 4 begins in June this year. It will be 2019’s Diwali release.”
The upcoming film will be produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, set in two eras, one close to the time the film Baahubali was set in. The second part will be set in the present time, the narrative has also been written by Sajid Nadiadwala.
