Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus Padmaavat drew a lot of attention before its release, but for all wrong reasons. Despite the controversies that erupted due to Karni Sena’s protest against the movie, the film fraternity stood behind the Padmaavat team.

On one hand, where Bollywood actress Swara Bhasker pointed out how the jauhar scene was glorified in the film, on the other hand, legendary actors like Amitabh Bachchan appreciated the performance of the actors. Deepika Padukone received a token of love and appreciation from the Kapoor duo, Rishi Kapoor, and Neetu Kapoor. They wrote, “Excellent work! So very proud of you, Love, Neetu and Rishi Kapoor.”

it was so lovely seeing both of you yesterday…Thank You for all the love & appreciation!🙏 @neetu54 #RishiKapoor
