“Unhone Duryodhan bol ke galat kiya hai, doosra bhasha bolna chahiye unko, vo sab to jallad hain, jallad. Jo judge ko aur patrakar ko marwa deta hai, uthwa leta hai. Aise aadmi ka mann aur vichaar kaisa hoga, khoonkar hoga (Priyanka should not have called PM Modi Duryodhana. She should have used other terminology. All of them [PM Modi and BJP] are bloodthirsty, bloodthirsty. He [PM Modi] gets judges and journalists killed, gets them abducted so you can imagine he must be having a murderous mentality),” said Rabri Devi, who has served as the chief minister of Bihar three times.

Priyanka had, on Tuesday, while addressing an election rally in Haryana’s Ambala, compared Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Duryodhana. She said that the PM is as arrogant and narcissistic as Duryodhana because he cannot see beyond himself. But PM Modi does not know that just like Duryodhana’s arrogance and narcissistic propensities were demolished, his (PM Modi’s) would be demolished too.

She also quoted an excerpt from one of the poems of Ramdhari Singh Dinkar, the celebrated poet who is hailed as the National Poet of India. She said, “Jab naash manuj par chaata hai, pehle vivek mar jata hai (when a person is destined to doom, then the first thing he loses is his wisdom).”
