No admission fee for SC students in Haryana for 2019-20 session

A spokesman of higher education department said that as per the guidelines of Director, Welfare of Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes Department, the students belonging to the SCs, who are eligible for the post-matriculation scholarship scheme of the Union government, may not be charged any fee or fund in private and government colleges and universities during the academic session 2019-20.

During the academic session 2019-20, no admission fee or any fund would be charged from eligible students belonging to the Scheduled Castes (SCs) for post-matric scholarship scheme in the private and government universities and colleges coming under the Haryana Higher Education Department.

While giving information in this regard on Friday, a spokesman of higher education department said that as per the guidelines of Director, Welfare of Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes Department, the students belonging to the SCs, who are eligible for the post-matriculation scholarship scheme of the Union government, may not be charged any fee or fund in private and government colleges and universities during the academic session 2019-20.

If any institution does not follow these instructions, strict action will be initiated, he added.
