Acharyakulam, the unique residential school founded by Swami Ramdev and Acharya Balkrishna, recently celebrated sacred event marking diksha (initiation) of its Class 12 students for the academic year 2025-26.
This auspicious ceremony rooted in Vedic traditions reflected both spiritual discipline and the cultivation of positive values among students.
Vedic ceremony and yagna illuminate the campus
The celebration featured a special 12-kund (fire) yagna, conducted under the guidance of Ramdev and Acharya Balkrishna. A total of 90 students (49 boys and 41 girls) participated in the initiation which followed ancient Vedic rituals designed to instill dedication, discipline, and devotion.
During the rituals, Ramdev explained each step in simple terms ensuring the students understood the spiritual significance behind the mantras and ceremonial practices. Each student lit their personal lamp from the ‘Mahajnan Jyoti’ ignited by the revered leaders.
Oath of discipline and spiritual growth
At this occasion, the students pledged to uphold the principles of yoga and yajna. They vowed to carrying forward the values and teachings imparted at Acharyakulam into all aspects of life.

The ceremony highlighted how spiritual learning goes hand-in-hand with character development and the cultivation of positive energy in daily life.
School leadership and guests celebrate
Ritambhara Shastri ‘Bahan’, Vice-Chairperson of Acharyakulam, and Principal Swati Munshi extended warm wishes to students for their upcoming board examinations.
The event also witnessed the presence of several prominent dignitaries. This included NP Singh, Executive President, Indian Education Board; Jaydeep Arya, Chairman, Haryana Yoga Commission; Rakesh Mittal, Chief Central Officer, Bharat Swabhiman; senior monks, revered nuns, and representatives from Patanjali Project & Infra, Patanjali Ayurved Mahavidyalaya, and Patanjali Career Academy; Acharyakulam faculty, coordinators, and students.
