Bharatiya Janata Party’s controversy child Dilip Ghosh, who is also party’s president in West Bengal, has made an inflammatory speech directed at Trinamool Congress workers.

During a public meeting in Jalpaiguri on Tuesday, Ghosh said that if BJP workers are threatened by Trinamool workers, his party will retaliate with bullets.

In his speech, which was laden with aggressive verbatim, Ghosh suggested using “encounter” as a method to counter any act of violence against the BJP workers.

This is not the first time Dilip Ghosh has made headlines for his remarks.

In April 2018, an FIR was lodged against Dilip Ghosh for making statements against children of TMC workers. He had allegedly said children of Trinamool workers will become orphans in this rural poll. Ghosh had rejected the accusations though.

In May 2018, during Panchayat polls, Ghosh made inflammatory remarks stating that BJP party workers would counter any attempt of “TMC backed goons” to unleash violence against them with equal measure.

In June 2018, Ghosh had allegedly said that police were working for West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and they, if needed, would remove uniforms of police officers after the 2019 general elections.

Ghosh had also made instigating statements after two BJP workers were found dead under mysterious circumstances in West Bengal last month. Ghosh had alleged that TMC was trying to wipe out ever sign of opposition from the state.
