Virbhadra celebrates 84th birthday

People from all walks of life and all from across the state gathered at the private residence Holly Lodge of chief minister (CM) Virbhadra Singh to celebrate his 84th birthday on Friday.

The CM along with his wife, Pratibha Singh and son Vikramaditya Singh and other well wishers and prominent citizens of the town celebrated by cutting the cake.

Chief Minister also participated in the traditional folk dance ‘Nati’with his family members and others.

He said that he was lucky enough to have served the people of the State from last 55 years, since he entered politics.

“I crossed many political hurdles and many ups and downs in my political career and the pleasure one feels to cut across these obstacles was far beyond words and explanation,” he said, adding that one has to struggle to achieve success.

The Chief Minster said that it was the love and people of the state which motivated him to face all hurdles in his political career, despite all odds, adding that for him life was a struggle and he loves overcoming the same.
