My cup of tea
During my last visit to India some of my relatives asked me what I missed most from my life in India in the US. I did not have an immediate answer, but thought about that question off and on for a long time.
Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat paid tribute to martyred Indian army soldier Vikas Gurung at Gumaniwala in Rishikesh on Monday.
The CM met the martyr’s family and expressed his condolence. He said that the people of Uttarakhand are with the family in this hour of grief.
The Chief Minister assured the family of providing help from the state government side. Notably, 21-years-old Vikas Gurung of 2/1 Gorkha Rifles had attained martyrdom in firing on Line of Control from other side of border in Naushera sector of Jammu & Kashmir.

Vidhan Sabha Speaker Premchand Aggarwal and MLA Ganesh Joshi also paid tributes to the martyred soldier by laying wreath on his body.
