The two were arrested in a drunken state from a guesthouse on Sunday night.

“The police launched a probe into how they got the liquor,” an IANS report quoted Patna Senior Superintendent of Police Manu Maharaj as saying.

The two nationals were associated with the Chinese mobile phone company Oppo.

The guesthouse, where they were staying was booked in the name of Oppo Mobiles (DS) Private Limited.

Oppo India, meanwhile, said the company had taken cognisance of the incident.

We at OPPO India are aware of the recent report and have taken immediate cognizance of this incident. OPPO’s India business has deep regard and respect for the laws of the land and fully comply with them.
