Try ‘One Election, One Phase’ before ‘One Nation, One Election’: Kamal Haasan takes dig at BJP over LS poll dates
In Phase 1 which will be held on April 19, the voting will be held in a total of 102 constituencies.
Actor-turned-politician Kamal Haasan is all set to launch his political party on Wednesday evening. He will unveil his party’s name and flag at a public rally in Madurai.
The film star formally began his political journey on Wednesday by first visiting former President late APJ Abdul Kalam’s residence in Rameswaram. He met the former President’s elder brother and other family members at the residence.
Actor Kamal Haasan said there was “no politics” involved in his visit to the late APJ Abdul Kalam’s residence, or his proposed visit to a school, which did not fructify as the administration denied him the permission, where the former president had studied.

He could not visit the school where Kalam studied as the district administration denied him permission saying the event was “political” in nature.
The Twitter parade is turning the major political event in a hilarious tragedy. While some people played the word-game with ‘Kamal’ referring to the actor’s name and BJP’s party symbol, some just joked about who the candidates will be.
Here are some of the best reactions:

#KamalHaasan has launched his own party. That’s so selfish of him considering, BJP has been promoting him since 1980 by telling voters- “Kamal ko vote dein.” #KamalPartyLaunch
