Delhi witnesses strong surface winds, rain at several places
Several parts in the city also witnessed rain with the strong winds, the regional meteorological centre said in its bulletin.
It was a sunny Monday morning here with the minimum temperature recorded at 20 degrees Celsius, normal for this time of the season.
The India Meteorological Department forecast clear sky throughout the day with the maximum temperature likely to hover around 34 degrees Celsius.
Sunday's maximum temperature settled at 32.6 degrees Celsius, two notches below what is normal for this time of the year in the capital while the minimum temperature was recorded at 19 degrees Celsius, the season's average.
