Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu on Thursday with families of the victims of the Nurpur School Bus accident.
Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee president Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu on Thursday visited the families of the victims of the Nurpur School Bus accident that killed 28 people including 24 school children.
He consoled the families and also participated in the rituals of all the deceased school children killed in the bus accident Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu said, “The Congress party is with the families of the victims in this hour of unbearable sorrow. The untimely death of children is great loss that no one can fulfil.”
May God grant each and every family those who suffered such an irreparable loss, strength to bear the misery, he added.

He also conveyed the condolences of the All India Congress Committee president Rahul Gandhi who has expressed his solidarity with the families during the hour of grief and prayed to the almighty to give peace to the departed souls.
Earlier, Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu also visited those injured children at the Pathankot hospital to know their well being. He urged the state government to expedite the cause of the accident and repair the black spot.
Sukhu also demanded that the Public Works Department (PWD) should also install warning sign at the ill fated spot from where the school bus rolled down the gorge to caution the public.
It is pertinent to mention that in a major accident on April 9, 27 persons, including 23 children were killed when the school bus rolled down the hill into a George near Nurpur in Kangra district.
