‘Even if 100 elections come, BJP’s drama will not work in TN’: CM Stalin
The DMK leader claimed that the Prime Minister is in 'fear of losing the elections', adding that all Indians are angry.
DMK working president MK Stalin led hundreds of protesters on Wednesday against the Centre’s notification that bans trade of cattle for slaughter here.
Hundreds of people from all walks of life gathered outside the Chennai collectorate to protest against the new cattle sale rules.
“The BJP government at the Centre is robbing the states of their powers. They’re dictating terms to the states, and this is unacceptable,” Stalin said.

The DMK working president further warned that this was only the first phase of the protests. “If you don’t act, another Marina like protest will begin.”
Stalin had announced the agitation on Monday, and had invited leaders of all opposition parties to join him on Wednesday to protest the Centre’s new rules. A large number of people came out with posters and banners slamming the central government’s move.
