Manipur’s Dilemma
Today, as the first votes are cast in India’s general election, the spotlight naturally turns to the bustling political activities across the country.
A slight intensity earthquake measuring 4.4 on the Richter scale on Monday hit Manipur, IMD sources said.
The earthquake hit the state at 4.05 am. The epicentre of the quake was located at latitude 24.7 degree north and longitude 93.9 degree east, the sources said.
The police said there was no report of any loss of life or damage to property.
