Two sisters were allegedly gangraped in a hotel by their friends who had invited them to a birthday party on Monday night.
Police has registered a case against five persons, including a relative of the women.
SP (City) Maan Singh Chauhan said Prashant, Mohit, Pehalwan and two others have been booked. “We are conducting raids and the accused would be in our net soon,” he said. “The police is investigating the case from different angles as the girls were drunk when they were brought to the Mahila thana and one of them even attempted to cut her vein at the hotel,” he said.

Prashant, who is a relative of the victims, invited the sisters for a birthday party. He had booked two rooms at a hotel in Tejgarhi area on Monday night.
Here Prashant and his friends, Mohit, Pehalwan and two others, allegedly raped them and left the hotel. They told the police that they shouted for help but no one came to the rescue. One of them however attempted to cut her veins which created panic among the hotel staff who than reported the matter to police, who took the women in Mahila police station where they allegedly created a scene as they were drunk. The police than registered a complaint and informed their family members.
